Following the finals held on the morning of 11th May 2024, about 350 contestants, their parents, teachers and distinguished guests gathered at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in the afternoon for the awards ceremony. Here are the winners of the six categories:
A
total of 34 finalists were awarded, including SINGH Harpreet from The
University of Hong Kong who topped the university category and has
earned the distinction of representing Hong Kong in the forthcoming National
Grand Final. The winners of other groups will have the opportunity to
participate in the Exchange Programme and overseas MUN courses sponsored by See
Change Education. This will allow them to learn from and interact with peers
nationwide. Furthermore, outstanding contestants will be selected to become
anchors and junior reporters for China Daily Hong Kong edition, contributing to
the production of youth-oriented video programs.

This year also featured a fresh invitational contest, with 150 mainland students coming to Hong Kong to compete while embarking on a three-day cultural exploration of the city and enjoying valuable interactions with their Hong Kong counterparts. Nine winners of the invitational contest joined Saturday’s finals to showcase their speaking skills.
